You boys are too funny!

Maya....yea, I don't blame ya on not getting it....and I am right there with you with being picky!! I don't know if we're going to make Cult Classic or not...I forgot we have a local gtg that weekend & we've already committed to that. We'll see though, depends on whether or not the dh can be convinced! Though even if I do talk him into it, there is NO WAY in hell he will be going on a balloon ride!!

Glad to hear you had a good time! If it had been Sat, we would have gone instead of going to that local gtg (I SO wish y'all/CW were in PA!! From what I've seen here, you have a great group of FRIENDLY ppl)...dh ended up having to work most of the day Sunday though so we couldn't have made it anyway. I doubt we'll make a show before Waterfest. I start my new job Monday, we're settling on our house this month & we are just busy most weekends up til Waterfest.

Nah, no birthdays here....just the 15th anniversary of my 21st birthday!! Haha!!! :cheers1: :heart1:

Yea, it's exciting & stressful at the same time!! I'll just be glad to get settled back into a normal routine!

Aw, thanks! And that sounds good. It'll be nice to "meet" you...I vaguely remember seeing you at the girls photo shoot...I was so shot I don't really remember too much about it other than wanting some coffee REALLY badly & being cold!! LOL!! That and your wake up call that morning! Haha! I was physically awake when you called...but not mentally! I still have your number in my contacts, so as long as it hasn't changed....I'll text ya at Waterfest & we can make plans to meet up somewhere! :sunny:

Re: Dub Ladies <33

Ok cool! I will text you then! Omg, we had a sh!tty bed in our hotel & hardly slept the whole friggin weekend! :( It was our first H2O & most of it is a blur! The only person I talked to was Michelle...she was the one telling us where to park. Other than that, I don't think I talked to anyone else! I saw a few girls I recognized from pics on vortex but didn't talk to anyone. I'm so not a morning person as it is...combined with the lack of sleep, coffee & being shy ....well I wasn't very talkative!

Re: Dub Ladies <33

do you know where you're staying for h2o this year?? I'm booked at the Spinnaker motel on 18th (?) where some NYish kids are staying, but a bunch of Coolwater people are at the Atlantic Oceanfront Inn so idk if I want to move there or what. It might be nice to be hotel neighbors with some dubladies  :p

Re: Dub Ladies <33

Nope, we weren't sure where we wanted to stay this year....we just know we will NOT be staying where we stayed last year! Hmm, is the Atlantic Oceanfront nice? That's our biggest problem with finding a place to stay....we just don't know what hotels are good down there! If you do move to it, let me know. Maybe we'll stay there too?!?!!! :bigthumb:

Haha....my main concerns are that it's clean, no bugs & the bed doesn't suck! I'm telling you, I don't think I have ever slept on a more uncomfortable bed as I did last year!

spinnaker was okay.. and i think all the rooms are the same. the atlantic oceanfront's website http://www.atlanticoceanfronthotel.com/ ... nities.php says their oceanfront rooms have pillowtop mattresses. Hmmmmm :)

Re: Dub Ladies <33

Looked at both the Spinnaker & the Atlantic Oceanfront....Spinnaker won't work for us because they have two double beds, no king beds that I saw. Smallest bed we can sleep in without one of us being pushed off is a queen! Atlantic Oceanfront has king beds so that would work! :sunny: I keep telling him we need to get our reservations SOON!!!

I have trying to get him to make reservations for MONTHS now!!!!! We were just having a hard time deciding where to stay so he keeps procrastinating!! I finally told him to just pick an effing place already & get it booked! Haha! I'll have him look at it today & maybe get him to get it booked already!

Re: Dub Ladies <33

hahah. I found that tripadvisor helps a lot, esp for things like comfy beds.. just give more weight to the more recent reviews! haha i think ones for spinnaker are a bit questionable but i stayed there for DATB and it wasn't bad at all. i've been trying to pick places by location (and price, eeps) this time; atlantic oceanfront is def right near all the action (and a drunk stumble away from seacrets :p ). lmk what you guys decide!! :sunny:

Re: Dub Ladies <33

Thanks for the tip! I will deff let you know what we decide to do! Haha...we haven't ever gone to Seacrets when we were in OC...and when we were at h2o we just hung out on our balcony & drank ....watched the cars going by & yelling back and forth at the ppl in the hotel next to us....then they were launching water balloons at the guys above us with a bull horn! It was a good time though! The bullhorn was hilarious....when we weren't trying to sleep!!!!!!! Anyway, I'll let you know!

I called & made our reservations so I could make sure we got the room we wanted...though I really hope she understood what I was saying & put us in a room we'll like!!
You should definitely call!! Just request that they put us in rooms next to each other or at least really close!! Just tell them my name. I am so excited for h2o this year! Are you showing or doing club parking? We did exhibition last year but somehow we ended up getting directed to club parking! LOL! Of course we were parked by a bunch of people we didn't know so it kinda sucked! I'm not sure what we'll do this year though.

hmm I remember club parking was way out in left field (literally?) last year. If my RMs are done ( ) and the cabby's behaving I may actually show it. shrug. we'll seeee :)

Yep, it was (literally) out in the left field! It was actually ok though...other than the mud from the rain! I was debating on showing or trying to get in club parking again. I just don't think I'm show worthy though. Still have time to decide what to do though so it's all good! I hope you are able to show the cabby!! :bigthumb:

SO, is anyone coming down for VAG Fair?!?!?! We'll definitely be there!! I think I'm going to show this year, I'll just do Daily Driver. I really need to find a back bumper though. I never got it replaced since I was dragging my kit in & out of the trunk. I figured there was no sense before I was done school. Now that I am done though, I want to get it replaced. I'd really like to get one already painted but we'll see.

My "winter" project is going to be replacing the headliner! :) Although Jas thinks I'm crazy because my interior is all black & a lot of people want black?! He says I should trade/sell my headliner & side panels & then replace the material with what I want. I just can't decide what I want to do though! I'm leaning toward either doing a Coach print in blue, black, white (and maybe a touch of pink!)...or a blue, black & white argyle print. We shall see what I end up doing!

Re: Dub Ladies <33

haha i kind of agree with him - people go NUTS over black headliners and i think they just look so much cleaner. I would probably pick up another pillar/headliner set and cover that, but then again I tend to hoard OEM parts which is not exactly a good thing  :p . just make sure whatever fabric you choose is COLORFUL :D and/or matches your hair ;) hehe.

as far as not being show-worthy.. PFFFFTTTTTT. people LOVE your car haha that's really what it should be about :) . i got to VAG fair lateisih last year but you may luck out with a vendor having a bumper you like (primed or otherwise) for a good price!

I guess I just don't get it because I love more colorful stuff?!?! Ha, I can't get it to match my hair...it changes too often!!!! It'll definitely have color to it though that's for sure.

Aw, thanks! The bumper just bothers me! I'll keep an eye out at VAG fair & h2o for a bumper. If I don't find one, I'll just look over the winter.
